Map of Mattoon Illinois 1876
This print is a reproduction of a map published by Warner & Beers, Chicago, 1876 from their Atlas of Illinois. The original print was 4" x 8". This print was enlarged to 5.5" x 10.75" and is printed on 8.5" x 11" 51 pound matte finish paper using archival inks. This printing size results in uneven margins. The print comes unmated without a frame. Any defects, such as age soiling, will be present in the reproduction.
Mattoon is located in east central Illinois in Coles county. Some of the street names on the map are different than the current streets. The map shows parts of current Mattoon north to Piatt Ave., south to Marion Ave. east to 6th St and west to 35th St..
