Japanese Meiji Period Black Lacquerware Tray with very good MAKIE. The trays
were done in gold lacquer, utilizing many of the gold lacuering techiniques,
such as TAKAMAKIE, HIRAMAKIE and TOGIDASHI, amongst other techniques. Some of
the leaves are also done with KIRIGANE, or cut gold mini-squares inlays. The
tray measures 13" wide and 13" tall. The side of the tray measures 1.5". The
tray is in excellent condition. Shipment will be via USPS Priority Mail. As
