This is a fantastic pair of circa 1840's wrought iron stair stringers. They
each measure about 29" in total length and are very thick and heavy. They are
in very good condition and are sturdy and solid. There is a small void in the
side of one that looks like it was a manufacturing defect and does not effect
the structure or strength. Each stair section has three tabs for attaching
stair treads and no tabs are broken or cracked. Considering the massive build
of these stringers they were most likely from a municipal building or factory
rather than a residential home. Thank you!
