This c1900 Victorian ball and stick interior fretwork is in three pieces. The
center piece is 84”w x 12”h and the two side pieces that fit into the brass
couplings on either end are 12”w and the outside stringers are 19”h. It is in
what I would consider to be mint condition as there are no breaks, cracks,
missing pieces or other damage to the piece. We believe it was salvaged from a
mansion in St. Paul, MN. It is constructed of oak although the spindles and
balls could very well be a mix of oak, maple and/or birch. It is a very
fragile piece and will be reinforced prior to shipping. It is a wonderful
example of Victorian architecture and would be a grand addition to your space!
